Site Plot
Year: 1285
The Kingdom Of Cedrilath, once one of the most prosperous kingdoms in the world. Merchants thrived in this kingdom with the resources which the kingdom held. Always the more peaceful kingdom, adventurers would come and go to see if the story of Cedrilath was true. They heard stories that even the peasants were as rich as a noble. However, that all began to crumble when King James Calthorpe died under mysterious causes. Rumors circulated as to what the cause of death truly was. Many believed an assassination, yet they couldn't understand why anyone wanted to murder James, due to how fair he was as a king. His daughter, the only heir to the throne, had to step up and take the throne of dreams. Many people found it despicable that she was to rule, but learnt to accept it.
Yet she was nothing like her father and the way she ruled was chaotic. Cedrilath was known as the fairest city of them all. There were no thieves because everyone could feed themselves. There was no revolt because everyone was treated equally but Queen Aurelia ruined that and began taxing higher and butchering those who were heard using her name in a vile manner. Merchants began to pack their things and leave. The resources and the money they made from it was all going to the Queen's treasury, causing many to start to lose their gold and their livelihood. Peasants began to emerge, beggars and thieves also began to emerge as well as the crime rate.
Aurelia the Cruel they began to know her as. Unaware that behind the scenes, the butchering and taxing was not her doing. She was being forced, by the Brotherhood of Blades. Why they are forcing her to make irrational decisions like disrupting the financial state of the kingdom and making her kill anyone that talks about her in the wrong way is unclear yet. No one knows that the brotherhood actually exists, but their hatred for the kingdom of Cedrilath is clear, they want to destroy it and unleash chaos upon it like ever before.
Lords have begun taking up arms, a revolt against the queen but greed is true in all of them. They all want the crown for themselves and have began fighting each other for it. Never has this happened before in the kingdom of Cedrilath. A meeting has finally been called by the council, who will decide what to do with the queen.
